As one of the largest chess clubs in the Midlands, we offer a friendly welcome and low membership rates,
we have match room, analysis room, licensed premises and free parking, the main club night is Wednesdays at 19:30.
Our grade range covers from 2300+ to Novice, so we have a place for you, South Birmingham Chess Club is normally open throughout the year.
Currently we have 8 teams in the Birmingham & District League, and 1 team in the Dudley League, Teams also enter the League Lightning and Rapid Play Tournaments.
