SBCC Membership Fees

Season 2026-27

Chess Club subscriptions are £17 for working adults and £7 for everybody else.  

If you're 18 or over, please ensure you have joined SUWMC.  This costs £18 and is one of the conditions under which we are able to use our clubroom at no additional cost.

If you've already joined, you will have a green membership card (made of card) and a white plastic bar card. If you have neither of these, please ask at the bar for a membership form.  Children are not asked to join SUWMC, but we would be very grateful if parents/carers of under-18s became members of SUWMC too.  Membership lasts for a calendar year and it's each member's individual responsibility to ensure they renew in January.

A requirement of all playing members will be to join the ECF so games can be graded.

The 1st year of junior ECF membership is also free.
